Service Technicians Guide
Operator's panel
The blood unit, the fluid unit and the mixing
unit are controlled and supervised from the
operator's panel. The panel consists of a number
of buttons, bargraph displays, flow paths, a time
display, an information display, a blood flow
knob and one set knob.
1. Hygiene group: ON/OFF, Chem Disinf, Heat
disinf, Rinse/Drain, Auto Heat and Auto Rinse.
2. Mode group: Isol UF, SN, Acetate, Bicarbo-
nate, and Volume Control.
3. Treatment Overview group contains
bargraphs and buttons for:
- Venous pressure, Blood flow, SN Data (Single
Needle Treatment), Temperature and Conduc-
tivity.
- Arterial pressure, TMP, UF volume and UF
rate, Time (Remaining treatment time).
- Heparin, Priming, Auto Priming (Priming
functions) and Rinseback.
- Air detect, Attention, Technical alarm, pH, and
Blood leak.
- Profiling and BPM.

The panel is divided into five logical groups:
4. Stand-by: Blood pump, Reset, Mute, Fluid
bypass and Start UF Stop.
5. Display/Setting: operator/machine communi-
cation, setting of parameters ("Set"-knob),
setting of blood flow ("Blood flow"-knob).
