How to preset concentrate
Enter Service maintenance menu:

Select Manual.
Scroll with the SET-knob:
Group 8 for presetting Acetate concentrates and
group 9 for Bicarbonate concentrates.
Press .
• 0 Start up
• 1 Configuration
• 2 Set values and limits
• 3 Override times
• 4 Auto priming
• 5 Rinse Back
• 6 Disinfection
• 7 Single needle
• 8 Acetate concentrates
• 9 Bicarbonate concentrates
AK 95 S has six memories, called "alternatives"
for concentrate presets - three for Acetate mode,
and three for Bicarbonate mode.
The default concentrates are:
Acetate mode:
Alt 1: D01
Alt 2: D94
Alt 3: D53
Bicarbonate mode:
Alt 1: 201 + BiCart
Alt 2: 203 + BiCart
Alt 3: D360 + D300 (Liquid bicarbonate)

Preset Service
The assignment of concentrates to the alterna-
tives is open - any combination of concentrate
types can be used.
All values which are going to be set are specified
at the label on the concentrate containers.
NOTE! If the values are present as both
concentrated and diluted concentrate, use
the concentrated values.
Example
Following example will show how to preset the
AK 95 S for Gambro BiCart together with A-
concentrate 201.
Bicarbonate concentrates
1. Press .
Bicarbonate alt. 1
2. Press .
Liquid Bicarbonate 1
BiCart 1
3. Select BiCart 1 and press
BiCart 1 [gram/l, molecule]
BiCart 1 [mmol/l, molecule]
BiCart 1 [mmol/l, ion]
4. Select one of these alternatives and preset the
concentrates according to the label on the con-
centrate container.
For example: BiCart 1 [gram/l, molecule]
and press .
