Electrical Safety Inspection for AK machines
- to be filed by the Service Engineer responsible

Visual inspection
Visual inspection of the AK-machine according to section 2.
PET for AK 95, AK 95 S
(1) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the exterior
cover of the power supply is < 0.3 Ohm.
(2) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the heater
rod is < 0.3 Ohm.
(3) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the suction
pump is < 0.3 Ohm.
(4) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the mount-
ing plate to the diascan conductivity cell is < 0.3 Ohm.
(5) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the stand
of MM 95 (e.g. a screw to the heat exchangers) is < 0.3 Ohm.
(6) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the front
of MM 95 (e.g. a screw to the BiCart-holder)
(7) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the heparin
pump (rear plate) is < 0.3 Ohm.
(8) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the poten-
tial equalization connector is < 0.3 Ohm.
PET for AK 200, AK 200 ULTRA, AK 200 S, AK 200 ULTRA S
(1) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the power
supply (right side, through the ventholes of the bottom box) is < 0.3 Ohm.
(2) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the FM
bottom plate is < 0.3 Ohm.
(3) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the heater
rods outside the heating vessel is <0.3 Ohm.
(4) For 115 V machines: Resistance between the grounding clips of the
mains plug for the heater rods and the heater rods outside the heating vessel
is < 0.3 Ohm.
(5) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the over-
heat protection of the heater rods is < 0.3 Ohm.
(6) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the poten-
tial equalization connector is < 0.3 Ohm.
(7) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the heparin
pump (rear plate) is < 0.3 Ohm.
(8) Resistance between the grounding clips of the mains plug and the rear
plate of the BVS-unit is < 0.3 Ohm.
