Calibrations
Verify
Turn on the equipment on the following
order:
1. Plug in the UF calibration box.
Note! All electrical connections must be done
before the power for AK 95 S is turned on.
Be aware of that there is no main switch on the
UF calibration box.
Connect the UF calibration box to the
AK 95 S.
Use the UF calibration cable, K1 4036, to
connect the AK 95S with the UF calibration box.
The part of the cable that is labeled UF BOX
should be connected to the UF calibration box.
Note! The verification will not run (but nothing
will get destroyed) if the cable is reversed.
2. Start the AK 95 S with the main switch and
the ON/OFF button.
3. Place B-pickup tube in the acetate-concentrate
container.
4. Enter Service mode.
5. Connect the fluid tubes to the UF calibration
box.
6. Select Calibration.
7. Select Transducers.
8. Select UF.
9. Select Verify.
10. Set Reference volume with the SET knob.
(The Referense volume is labeled on the UF-
Calibration unit)
11. Press
to confirm.
After the Reference volume is confirmed the
verification of the UF cell calibration runs
automatically.

The information displays also shows the different
stages during the calibration:

Fluid preparation
•
UF stabilization
•
Main flow offset calibration
•
CH 1 flow calibration
•
Differential flow calibration
•
Verifying calibration of UF
•
Verifying calibration of Isolated UF
When the verification of the UF cell
calibration is ready:
When the verification is completed, AK95
displays the results:
First the display for UF Volume for 3 seconds:
UF VOL
REF VOL VOL DIFF
1006.5
1007.3
Then the display for Isolated UF Volume for 3
seconds:
ISO VOL REF VOL VOL DIFF
1007.5
1007.3
Then the previous display is shown again in
3 seconds and so on.
When ready, press
the UF cell calibration.
Note! Perform a Rinse before leaving the
AK 95 S.
The equipment is turned off in the
following order:
1 AK 95 S ON/OFF button.
2 AK 95 S main switch.
3 UF calibration box.
