Risk of injury from incorrect test lungs!
Test lungs other than those named here may not reliably detect
errors and thus distort the result of a function check. This can
injure the patient.
 Only use the test lungs named here.
Risk of injury due to a connection between the device and the
patient during the function check!
A connection between the device and the patient during the
function check can result in barotrauma and injury to the patient.
 Always disconnect any connection between the device and the
patient for the function check.
• The device is disconnected from the patient.
• A fully charged battery is inserted in the device.
• The device input filter is inserted in the device.
• The protective cap has been removed from the end of the
patient hose system.
• The function check is ready
