Boldface type indicates graphical user
interface elements associated with an action,
or terms defined in text or the glossary.
Italic type indicates book titles, emphasis, or

Monospace type indicates commands within a

appears on the screen, or text that you enter.
The dollar sign ($) prompt indicates a
command run as the oracle user.
The pound (#) prompt indicates a command
that is run as the root user.
