DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS)
Step
CHECK HARNESS CONNECTOR BETWEEN
TCM AND DROPPING RESISTOR.
1)Disconnect the connector from TCM.
2)Measure the resistance of harness between
TCM connector and dropping resistor connec-
tor.

CHECK HARNESS CONNECTOR BETWEEN
TCM AND DROPPING RESISTOR.
Measure the resistance of harness between
dropping resistor connector and chassis
ground.

Chassis ground:
CHECK HARNESS CONNECTOR BETWEEN
TOR.
1 )Disconnect the connector from transmission.
2)Measure the resistance of harness between
transmission and dropping resistor connector.

TOR.
Measure the resistance of harness between
dropping resistor connector and chassis
ground.

Chassis ground:
CHECK HARNESS CONNECTOR BETWEEN
TCM AND TRANSMISSION.
1)Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
2)Disconnect the connector from transmission
and TCM.
3)Measure the resistance of harness between
TCM and transmission connector.

CHECK HARNESS CONNECTOR BETWEEN
TCM AND CHASSIS GROUND.
Measure the resistance of harness between
TCM and chassis ground.

CHECK 2-4 BRAKE DUTY SOLENOID.
Measure the resistance between transmission
connector receptacle's terminals.
