DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS)
N: DTC 76 2-4 BRAKE DUTY SOLENOID
DIAGNOSIS:
Output signal circuit of 2-4 brake duty solenoid is open or shorted.
TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
Excessive shift shock.

Step
1 CHECK VEHICLE.
2 CHECK RESISTOR.
1)Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
2)Disconnect the connector from dropping
resistor.
3)Measure the resistance between dropping
resistor terminal.
Terminals
NO. 3

Check
Is the target non-turbo model?
Is the resistance between 9
and 15 Q?
Yes
Go to step 2.
Go to step 3 .
AT-90
No
Go to step 7.
Replace the drop-
ping resistor. <Ref.
to AT-46, Dropping
Resistor.>
