SECURITY SERVICE

To enable remote login, and improve data communication security, the camera provides security
service to ensure a safer, more secure user experience.
Steps:
1. Enter the security service configuration interface: Configuration > System > Security > Security
Service.
2. Check the Enable SSH checkbox to enable SSH data communication security, and uncheck the
checkbox to disable SSH.
3. Check the Enable Illegal Login Lock checkbox to enable IP address blocking if an admin-level user
performs 7 failed user name/password attempts (5 times for operator-class users).
NOTE: If the IP address is locked, you can retry to login to the device after 30 minutes.
