Gently wipe the exposure
glass [M], rollers [N] and
separation pad[O].
NOTE: Clean the scanner
glass [M] with al-
cohol. Clean the
feed rollers [N]
and separation
pad [O] with water.
Close the operation panel l until it
audibly locks into place.
Attach the document tray.
Clean the machine's exterior with a
clean soft dry cloth.
NOTE: Do not use a cleaning agent
such as alcohol, benzene etc.
NOTE: If the room is cold, refer to "Cold
Weather Power-up" on page 6 be-
fore switching the machine on.
