OTe Troubleshooting (cont'd)
OTC 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38: Solenoid
1. Clearthe DTC, then disconnectthe Honda PGM
Tester.
2. Test-drive the vehicle.
Does the ASS indicator come on and are
orcs
31,
32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 indicated?
YES-Replace the ASS modulator-control unit .•
NO- The system is OK atthis time .•

OTC 51: Motor Locked
1. Check the No. 10 (40A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/
relay box.
Is the fuse OK?
YES-Reinstall the fuse, and go to step 2.
NO- Replace the fuse, and recheck .•
2. Disconnect the ASS control unit 31 P connector.
3. Measure the voltage between the ASS control unit
31P connector terminal No. 17 and body ground.

Wire side of female terminals
Is there battery voltage?
YES-Go to step 4.
NO-Repair open in the wire between the No. 10
(40A) fuse and the ASS control unit .•
