Injector Replacement (cont'd)
7. Coat the new a-rings (A) with clean engine oil, and insert the injectors (8) into the fuel rail (C).

8. Install the injector clip (D).
9. Coat the injector a-rings (E) with clean engine oil.
10. Install the injectors into the fuel rail, then install the fuel rail into the intake manifold IG).
11. Install the fuel rail mounting nuts, ground cable, and bracket.
12. Connect the connectors to the injectors.
13. Connect the quick-connect fittings.
14. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), but do not operate the starter. After the fuel pump runs for about 2 seconds, the
fuel pressure in the
fuel line
rises. Repeat this two or three times, then check for
fuel leakage.
