Basic Settings

Device View


The device view shows the device with the current configuration. The
status of the individual ports is indicated by one of the symbols listed
below. You will get a full description of the port's status by positioning the
mouse pointer over the port's symbol.

Meaning of the symbols:
The port (10, 100 Mbit/s, 1, 10 Gbit/s) is enabled
and the connection is OK.
The port is disabled by the management
and it has a connection.
The port is disabled by the management
and it has no connection.
The port is in autonegotiation mode.
The port is in HDX mode.
The port (100 MBit/s) is in the discarding mode of a redundancy
protocol such as Spanning Tree or HIPER-Ring.
The port is in routing mode (100 Mbit/s).
