Note: PTPv1 uses as the device UUID 48 bits which are identical to the
MAC address of the particular device.
Buttons

Button Meaning
Set Transfers the changes to the volatile memory (RAM) of the device. To
permanently save the changes, open the
dialog, select the location to save the configuration, and click "Save".
Reload Updates the fields with the values that are saved in the volatile memory
(RAM) of the device.
Reinitialize Restarts synchronization after changing the interval time and sets the
Subdomain Name.
Help Opens the online help.

Parameters Meaning
Port Port to which this entry applies.
The table remains empty if the
device does not support the PTP
mode selected
PTP enable Port sends/receives PTP
synchronization messages
Port blocks PTP synchronization
messages.
PTP Burst on: 2 to 8 synchronization runs
enable take place during the
synchronization interval. This
enables faster synchronization with
a correspondingly higher network
load.
off: One synchronization run is
performed in a synchronization
interval.
