Posizionare la rondella speciale (7)
con la superficie piana (B) verso
l'esterno e centrata sul cannotto del
telaio.
Avvitare manualmente la ghiera (4) di
registro fino a portarla in battuta sulla
rondella speciale (7).
Rimontare gli steli forcella (Sez. G 2),
per ottenere l'allineamento della testa
di sterzo (2).
Lubrificare con grasso prescritto
filetto e sottotesta delle viti (1) e (12).
Installare la testa di sterzo (2) nel
cannotto e negli steli forcella.
Applicare frenafiletti sulla ghiera (3).
Lubrificare con grasso prescritto la
superficie di appoggio della testa della
ghiera (3) sulla testa di sterzo.

Portare in battuta la ghiera (3) sulla
testa di sterzo (2).

Serrare le viti (12) e le viti (1) alla
coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Applicare alla chiave dinamometrica la
bussola speciale 88713.1058 e
bloccare la ghiera (3) alla coppia di
serraggio prescritta (Sez. C 3).

Position special washer (7) with the
flat surface (B) facing outwards and at
the center of frame tube.
Tighten adjuster ring nut (4) by hand
until driving it fully home on special
washer (7).
Refit fork legs (Sect. G 2) so as to
align steering head (2).
Lubricate screws (1) and (12) thread
and underside with recommended
grease.
Install steering head (2) into tube and
fork legs.
Apply threadlocker on ring nut (3).
Lubricate with recommended grease
the ring nut (3) head surface
contacting steering head.
Drive ring nut (3) fully home on
steering head (2).
Tighten screws (12) and screws (1) to
the specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Install special bushing part no.
88713.1058 on torque wrench and
tighten ring nut (3) to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
