2.7.90 EQPT-MISS
The Replaceable Equipment or Unit Missing alarm is reported against the fan-tray assembly unit. It
indicates that the replaceable fan-tray assembly is missing or not fully inserted. It could also indicate
that the ribbon cable connecting the AIP to the system board is bad.
Always use the supplied electrostatic discharge wristband when working with a powered ONS 15454.
Caution
Plug the wristband cable into the ESD jack located on the lower-right edge of the shelf assembly.
Clear the EQPT-MISS Alarm
If the alarm is reported against the fan, verify that the fan-tray assembly is present.

If no fan-tray assembly is present, obtain a fan-tray assembly and refer to the "Install the Fan-Tray

If the alarm does not clear, replace the ribbon cable from the AIP to the system board with a known-good
