Usage Guidelines
Interfaces ge1-ge4 can be configured as trunk or in access mode. An interface (when
configured as trunk) allows packets (from the given list of VLANs) to be added to the trunk.
An interface configured as "access" allows packets only from native VLANs
Use the
[no] switchport (access|mode|trunk)
Example
RFSwitch(config-if)#switchport mode access
RFSwitch(config-if)#
Sets the trunking mode characteristics
• allowed – Configures trunk characteristics when the port
is in trunk-mode
• vlan – Sets allowed VLANs
• add – Adds VLANs to the current list
• none – Allows no VLANs to Xmit/Rx
through the Layer2 interface
• remove – Removes VLANs from the
current list
• VLAN_ID – VLAN_IDs added or removed.
Can be either a range of VLANs (55-60) or a
list of comma separated VLAN IDs
(35, 41 etc.)
• native – Configures the native VLAN ID of the trunk-
mode port
• tagged – Tags the native VLAN
• vlan <1-4094> – Sets the native VLAN for
classifying untagged traffic when the
interface is in trunking mode
