Global Configuration Commands
Modifies message logging facilities
Supported in the Following Platforms:
• WS5100
• RFS7000
• RFS6000
Syntax
logging[aggregation-time|buffered|console|facility|
host|monitor|on|syslog]
logging aggregation-time<1-20>
logging buffered[<0-7>|alerts|critical|debugging|
emergencies|errors|informational|notifications|warnings]
Parameters
aggregation-time
buffered
console
Sets the number of seconds for aggregating repeated
messages. The value can be configured between 1-60
seconds
Sets the buffered logging level
• <0-7> – Enter the logging severity level (0-7)
• alerts – Immediate action needed, (severity=1)
• critical – Critical conditions, (severity=2)
• debugging – Debugging messages, (severity=7)
• emergencies – System is unusable, (severity=0)
• errors – Error conditions, (severity=3)
• informational – Informational messages, (severity=6)
• notifications – Normal but significant conditions,
(severity=5)
• warnings – Warning conditions, (severity=4)
Sets the console logging level
