BROADCAST STORM CONTROL COMMANDS

The Broadcast Storm Control commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the
appropriate parameters) in the following table.

The config traffic control command configures broadcast,
multicast and unknown unicast storm control.
<portlist> - A port or range of ports to be configured.
all − Specifies all ports on the Switch are to be configured.
broadcast_threshold – Enables broadcast storm control only.
multicast_threshold – Enables multicast storm control only.
unicast_threshold – Enables unicast storm control only.
no_limit – Disable traffic control measure.
<value 512-524288> − The upper threshold at which the specified
traffic control is switched on. The value is the number of
broadcast/multicast/dlf packets, in Kbps, received by the Switch that
will trigger the storm traffic control measures. The value ranges in
size from 512 to 524288 Kbps. The default setting is no_limit.
Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
