Removal (VS - Conventional Mount)

J 39500-8 AIC Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and
Recharging (ACR4) System ·
1. Recover the refrigerant using the J 39500-8.
2. Remove the pressure relief valve (2).
Compressor Pressure Relief Valve
Removal (V7 - Direct Mount)
Tools Required
J 41790 Compressor Holding Fixture
1 . Remove the compressor from the vehicle . .
2. Clamp the compressor holding fixture, J 41790 in
a vise and attach the compressor to the J 41790.
3. Remove the pressure relief valve fr<;>m the rear
head of the compressor.
