Use this feature to setup the login, access control and user accounts.
Allow User to Disable Active Settings
This feature allows privileged users to temporarily disable certain active settings that
were enabled by the system administrator.
Job Status Default
Use this feature to hide active jobs, completed jobs, and job logs from unauthenticated
users or non-job owners, to protect privacy, and to protect confidential information.
Overwrite Hard Disk
Use this feature to overwrite and remove all of the job image data residing on the hard
drive within the press.
System Administrator Settings
System Administrator Settings Overview
The System Administrator Settings menu is used to set the system administrator login
ID and passcode. A new login ID and passcode is recommended to prevent users from
making unauthorized changes and to ensure system security.
System Administrator Settings includes the following options:
System Administrator Login ID
Select this option to change the administrator login ID.
Note
The default system administrator Login ID is admin, and the default passcode is 1111.
System Administrator Passcode
Set the passcode for the system administration mode. The passcode is used for the
following purposes:
When the Passcode Entry feature is set to On, and thereby always requires a
passcode from User Interface, and
When logging in to a local account.
Note
A passcode must always be entered when accessing either remotely or from the network.
