• The alcohol described in the cleaning procedure of maintenance represents the

Cleaning of the electrostatic charger wire Y/M/C
A. Periodically cleaning parts/cycle
• Electrostatic charger wire Y/M/C: when toner cartridge Y/M/C is replaced

1. Open the lower front door.

2. Slowly pull out the charger-cleaning
tool [1] as far as possible.
Next, slowly push in the charger-
cleaning tool as far as possible.
Repeat the above operations three
times.
NOTE
• Move the charger-cleaning tool
slowly all the way to the end of
either way.
2. Pull out tray 1 and remove the clean-
ing tool [1] from tray 1.
