SFI - VSV FOR PRESSURE SWITCHING VALVE
REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY
REMOVE VSV FROM CHARCOAL CANISTER
INSPECT VSV
Inspect the VSV for open circuit.
Using an ohmmeter, check that there is continuity be-
tween the terminals.
Resistance:
20°C (68°F)
120°C (248°F)
Inspect the VSV for ground.
Check that there is no continuity between each terminals
and the body.
Inspect the VSV operation.
(1) Check that the air does not from port E to F.
(2) Apply battery positive voltage across the terminals.
(3) Check that the air flows from port E to F.
REINSTALL VSV TO CHARCOAL CANISTER
REINSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY
