Pastiglie freno
Le pastiglie freno anteriori sono provviste di segnala-
tore di usura collegato alla spia freni; all'accendersi di
questa spia o comunque quando la frenata non è più
regolare, far controllare lo spessore delle pastiglie e lo
stato delle superfici frenanti.
Lo spessore minimo tollerabile delle pastiglie è di 3
mm (spessore del solo materiale d'attrito).
Sostituzione pastiglie
L'accensione della spia avaria freni segnala una ecces-
siva usura delle pastiglie freni anteriori che devono
essere immediatamente sostituite.
Per garantire la qualità dei componenti
e la perfetta installazione, si consiglia di

Dopo la sostituzione, per ottenere un buon
assestamento delle pastiglie freni evitare
frenate troppo violente fino a quando le nuove
pastiglie non siano ben adattate (circa 300 km
di percorso).

Brake Pads
The brake pads are fitted with a wear indicator that is
connected to the brake warning light (see page; When
this warning light comes on or, in any case, whenever
braking no longer appears to be regular, the pad thick-
ness and the condition of the braking surfaces must be
checked.
The minimum thickness allowed for the pads is 3 mm/
0.12 in. (thickness of the friction material only).
Pad replacement
The brake failure warning light will switch on to indi-
cate excessive wear of the brake pads, which must be
replaced immediately in that case.

For best breaking-in of the pads follow-
ing replacement, avoid sudden and sharp
braking until the new pads have duly run-in
(after about 300 km / 186 mi.).

Pastillas de freno
Las pastillas de freno delanteras disponen de indica-
dores de desgaste conectados al testigo de frenos;
Cuando se encienda este testigo o si la frenada es irre-
gular, compruebe el espesor de las pastillas o el estado
de las superficies de frenado.
El espesor mínimo permitido de las pastillas es de 3
mm (espesor solamente del material de fricción).
Sustitución de pastillas
Al encenderse, el testigo de avería de frenos indica un
desgaste excesivo de las pastillas de frenos que debe-
rán sustituirse inmediatamente.
Para garantizar la calidad de los compo-
nentes y un perfecto montaje, se recomien-
da realizar la operación en un S

Después de la sustitución, para obtener
un buen acoplamiento de las pastillas de
frenos, evite frenadas demasiado violentas has-
ta que las pastillas nuevas se hayan adaptado
(recorridos unos 300 km).
