2. Install the cable. Install the shoulder bolt and nut securing the cable to the
traction bail. Torque shoulder bolt and nut to 75 ± 5 in-lbs. (8 ± 1 Nm).

1. Park the machine on a level surface and engage the parking brake. Stop the
engine and wait for all moving parts to stop. Shut the fuel off.
2. Remove the grass bagger assembly if attached.
3. Using an appropriate lifting device, raise the rear of the machine off the
ground.
4. Open and secure the rear cover.
5. Remove the 1/4–20 inch taptite screw securing the cover to the frame.
