Front Bumper Removal

1. Park the machine on a level surface and engage the parking brake. Stop the
engine and wait for all moving parts to stop. Shut the fuel off.
2. Remove the grass bagger assembly if attached.
3. Move the front axle height-of-cut to 5 inches.
4. Place wood blocks under the deck assembly to support the deck.
5. Remove the 4 (5/16–18 inch) (2 per side) nuts to carriage bolts securing
engine guard to front bumper assembly.

6. Remove the 4 (5/16–18 inch) center nuts to carriage bolts securing the front
bumper assembly to the deck assembly.

7. Remove the front axle assembly from the deck.
