Print Head Replacement

Turn off the power switch, and open the front cover . Then, unlock the head carriage, and move it to the left by hand .
C AUT ION
Make sure to turn off the main power switch before replacing the print head . If it is not turned off, the print head or the main
board could break . Replacing the print head with the power cord unplugged is recommended .

Remove the carriage cover .

Remove the damper plate .
6.
Pull the head shield to the front and remove it .
7.
Remove two ink dampers by pulling the print head you are going to replace .
C AUTION
• Ink dampers may break if you grasp them too hard .
• Remove the ink dampers with the head board cover attached . It prevents ink from dripping on the head board . It prevents
ink from dripping on the head board . If ink drips on the head board, the print head or the head driving IC will break .
