Sensor check
This menu displays the real-time status of each sensor. It shows " "
when the sensor is ON.The rst page shows the status of each sensor.
Each letter of the alphabet stands for the following.
H: Head Lock Sensor
F: Y Axis Origin Sensor
C: Front Cover Sensor
L: Z Axis Sensor
P: Panel Cover Sensor
A: Head Gap Sensor
w: Wiper Origin Sensor
Thermistor check
This menu is used for checking thermistor. It displays the temperatures read from the
thermistor placed on the center head (HEAD). The temperature on the left is indicated in
celsius and so is the right in fahrenheit.
Display Range: [HEAD] From 0 to 46 in Celsius. [AMB] From 0 to 95 in celsius.Since the
temperature of the device on the head board may rise, [HEAD] shows higher temperature
: 25 C/ 77 F
than the room temperature. Con rm that the temperature is not extremely low[AMB]
indicates outside air temperature.

Serial No.
This menu is for entering the serial No. of the machine in 7 digits. Cursor moves between digits
with [right] and [left] keys.

Change ink type
This menu is to change ink type. Di erent from the process
in the user menu, operations such as head wash and ink ll
are not included. This menu is used as a correction purpose when a
wrong type ink is selected. When the ink type is changed, ink system i
s initialized internally.
Then, it exits the menu and setup is canceled.

Fill ink
Fills Ink to each print head. A to B shown on the lower LCD are the head groups. Cursor can be moved with [left] and [right] keys. Use [up] and
[down] keys for ON/OFF. By pressing [ENTER] key, it starts to ll inkfor the selected head groups.To exit the menu, press [left] key when the cursor
is on A.
NOTE: Normally , FILL INK is to be performed on the three groups together. Performing this on individual recovery only when PUMP UP or HEAD
WASH head group should be for a is performed individually.

Remove ink
Removes ink from each print head.The difference from the user menu is that head group can be
selected.
NOTE: When this is performed on individual head group, the normal maintenance operations
cannot be performed. Normally, PUMP UP is to be performed on the both groups together. When it is
necessary to perform it individually fill the same type of ink for recovery with FILL INK menu
immediately.
The second page shows the status of each
cartridge sensor and ink empty sensor.
Each color has 2 positions and the left side
on the display shows the left-side head.
Blank: Cartridge not inserted, Ink remains
C: Cartridge inserted, Ink remains
E: Cartridge not inserted, Ink empty
: Cartridge inserted, Ink empty
The parameter can be changed with [up] and [down] keys.
