Linear Encoder Board Replacement
14.
Attach the print carriage board, and plug the connectors and connect the ribbon cables .

Attach the print carriage board cover .
C AUTION
Attach the print carriage board cover by pushing the part indicated by the arrows because the top part of the support is
easy to break .
16.
Open the front cover, and move the print-head carriage to the left by hand .

Attach the damper plate .
C AUTION
• Gently hold the damper plate while tightening the screws . If you press it down too hard, the dampers may break .
• Tighten the screws at the bottom of the slotted holes .
18.
Move the print-head carriage in a whole width of the machine . Make sure that the encoder scale does not make contact
with the encoder module and also encoder scale is between the slit of the encoder module .
19.
Perform Chapter 2 "Linear Encoder Setup" .
