8-246 Common card replacement procedures

Replacing a line card

At your current location:

Proceed only if you have been directed to this procedure from a step in a

maintenance procedure. Using this procedure independently may cause

equipment damage or loss of service.

Note: Card shrouds are required for inserting or removing cards in line

drawers. Two sizes are available for use with three-inch and six-inch cards.

Descriptions of these shrouds are as follows:
