Configuring MTU To ignore
Before you begin
• Access the ACLI VLAN Interface Configuration mode. At the command prompt, type
enter, type configure terminal, type int vlan <vid>).
About this task
You must configure the receiving interface to accept incoming LSUs regardless of the packet
MTU size.
Procedure
At the command prompt, enter the ip ospf mtu-ignore enable command to set
the interface to ignore the MTU size.

Configure area IDs

You must configure neighboring routers to use matching area IDs.
