Fuel Level Sensor Circuit - Rocket III and Classic

P0460
Pinpoint Tests
Test
1
Check cable and terminal integrity:
- ECM pin A24
- ECM pin A06
2 Check cable for short circuit:
- ECM pin A24 to ground
3 Check cable continuity:
- ECM pin A24 to sensor pin 4
- ECM pin A06 to sensor pin 3
4 Check cable for short circuit:
- Sensor pin 3 to sensor pin 4
5 Reconnect harness, clear fault code.

Renew fuel level sensor and proceed to test 5
Locate and rectify wiring fault, proceed to test
5
Action complete, quit test
