plate. A damaged float arm will result in an incorrectly
operating low fuel warning light.
Note:
To remove the pressure regulator, filter and
pump, components must be removed in
sequence, as follows below/over.

Release the screw securing the pressure regulator to
the mounting bar. Discard the screw after removal.

Note:
Unless it cannot be avoided, do not cut the tie
securing the internal wiring to the fuel pressure
regulator. Instead, release the two wiring
connectors from the pump plate (note or mark
their pOSitions before removal).

To release the pressure regulator, release the hose
clips from the pump plate and tiller then gently ease
the regulator, link pipe and hoses upwards. Place the
regulator aside.

Note:
Prior to removing the filter, note the direction
of the arrow on the side of the filter. The arrow
should point away from the fuel pump, towards
the pressure regulator.

To release the filter, release the hose clip and gently
ease the filter from the inlet hose.
