10. Pivot the mudguard downwards at the rear. Lift the
forward locating arms from the frame cross-tube to
detach the mudguard completely.

11. The number plate light and indicators assembly may
be removed by releasing the three fixings.
12. The rear light, may be removed by releasing the
three fixings.
Installation
1. If removed, refit the rear light to the rear mudguard.
Tighten the fixings to 7 Nm.
2. If removed, refit the number plate light and
indicators assembly. Tighten the fixings to 9 Nm.
3. Locate the mudguard to the frame, positioning the
locating arms above the frame cross tube.
4. Pivot the mudguard upwards at the rear and engage
the fixing through the frame and into the mudguard.

5. Tighten the fixing to 5 Nm.
6. Position the mudguard covers, engaging their
forward edges to the grommets.

Z Fit the mudguard cover fixings. Tighten the MS
fixings to 26 Nm and the M 10 fixings to 45 Nm.

S. Reconnect the rear light number plate light and
indicators.
9. Reconnect the battery, positive (red> lead first.
10. Check that the rear light number plate light and
indicators all function correctly.
11. Refit the side covers (see page
17-20>.
12. Refit the seat (see page 17-1B>.
13. Refit the pannier rail link. Tighten the fixings to
22Nm.
14. Refit panniers (see page 17-22>.
