Pinpoint Tests
Test

Check cable and terminal integrity:
- ECM pin 829
2 Check cable for short circuit to ground:
- ECM pin 829 to earth
3 Check cable continuity:
- ECM pin 829 to fuel pump relay pin 2
- Fuel pump relay pin 1 to ECM pin A 1 9
4 Check cable for short circuit:
- ECM pin 829 to Alarm pin 1 or 3
5 Reconnect harness, clear fault code and run O K
diagnostic software function test to verify
operation of fuel pump

ground or open circuit

pinpoint test 1 :
