Remove the three fixings and sepa rate the cockpit
infill and cockpit screen panels from the cockpit
panel.

Assembly
1 .
Align t h e cockpit infill and cockpit screen pa nels to
the cockpit panel. I nstall the th ree fixings and tighten
to
3 Nm.

Align the cockpit side assembly to the centre panel/
bea k support. I nstall the fixing and tighten to

1 .
Position the cockpit assembly t o the m otorcycle. Pass
the cockpit side assembl ies either side of the front
forks and u p over the front edge of the fuel tan k.

Position the rea r of each cockpit side assembly t o the
fuel tan k and clip the tabs. on the panel i nto the
lower edge of the ignition switch cover.

Refit the two in ner rea r fixings and tig hten to

Fit two new front lower fixings

Refit t h e front u pper fixings, located

Reconnect the battery, positive (red) lead first.

Removal
1 .
Rem ove the rider's seat (see page 76- 13>.

Remove t h e rea r fixing, located t o t h e rea r of the
airbox.

Lift the infi l l panel u pwards, releasing the rea r tang
from the frame g rommet.

Slide the i nfill towards the rea r of the m otorcycle and
release the front mounting ta ng from the fra me
g rommet.
Installation

I n stallation is t h e reverse of remova l noting the
followin g :
