Intake Air Temperature Sensor
Removal
Remove the rider's seat <see page 16-13).
1.
Disconnect t h e battery, negative (black> lead first.
2.
Remove t h e fuel ta n k (see p a g e 10-9T>.

Disconnect

Remove and discard t h e sensor fixing.

Remove the sensor from the airbox.

Installation
Fit the air tem perature sensor t o the airbox. Secure

with a new screw and tighten to 1.5 Nm.
Reconnect the intake a i r tem perature sensor m ulti-

plug.
Refit the fuel tan k <see page 10-92).
3.
Reconnect the battery, positive (red) lead first.

Refit t h e rider's seat (see p a g e 16-13).

Removal
Remove the rider's seat (see page 16-73).

Disconnect t h e battery, negative (black> lead first.
Remove t h e fuel ta n k (see page 70-91>.

Disconnect the MAP sensor m ulti-plug.

Disconnect the vacu u m hose from the sensor.

Release the fixing screw secu ring the sensor to the

airbox and remove the sensor.
Installation
Fit the sensor to the airbox, tightening the fixing to

1.5 Nm.
Refit the vacuu m hose.

Reconnect the MAP sensor m u lti-plug.
3.
Refit the fuel tan k <see page 10-92).
4.
Reconnect t h e battery, positive (red) lead first.
5.
Refit the rider's seat (see page 16-13).
