Lift the rea r mudguard off the two rear seat rai l lugs,
along with the rea r light and seat lock assembly.
1. Rear mudguard
2. Seat rail lugs
8. Carefu lly separate the rear m udguard from the rea r
light and seat lock assembly and remove from the
motorcycle.
Do not allow the rear light and seat lock assembly to
hang from the rear light harness o r seat lock cable.

Installation

1 . A l i g n t h e rea r mudguard t o t h e rear l ight and seat
lock assembly.
2. Position the rea r mudgua rd to the seat rails, and
locate the holes in the mudguard over the l ugs on
the frame.
3 .
Secure the rea r mudguard t o t h e seat rails using new
fir-tree cl i ps.
4. Fol lowing the routin g noted d u ring disassembly,
recon nect the rea r direction i n d icators.
5 . Refit the splash guard or m udguard extension.
Secure the splash guard or mudguard extension
with the fou r screws and tighten to
6. I nsta l l the lower mudg uard extension or reflector
bracket fixing and tig hten to

Refit the rear side panels <see page 16-

8. Refit the rear rack <see page 16-21).
9 . Recon nect t h e battery, positive <red) lead first.

Refit the rider's seat (see page 16- 13>.
