Pinpoint Tests
Test

Measure the air gap of the front wheel
speed sensor between the sensor and the
pulser ring:
- Air gap between 0.1 m m to 1 . 5 m m
2 Check the pu lser ring
contamination by road g rime or ferrous
meta l filings

Check the wheel speed sensors for correct O K
installation, and the
torque:

Check the wheel speed sensor circuit <See
page 14-60>

Clear fa u lt code and test ABS to verify fault OK
