Fuel Pressure Checking
Observe the fuel handling
general information section.
Fuel pressu re is checked using service tool

Remove the rider's seat <see page 16-13>.

Remove the fuel tan k <see page 70-91 ) and place on

a suitable support, close to the motorcycle.
Using the extension

con nect the fuel p u m p con nection to the fuel tan k.
Connect the other end of the extension cable to the
motorcycle main harness.
Select the fuel pressu re gauge adapter ma rked

from service tool
T3 880001.
Always us the correct fuel p ressure gauge adapter
(adapter 'B' for Tiger 800 and Tiger SOOXC>. Use
of an incorrect adapter wil l result in a fuel leak. A fuel
leak can result in a fire causing damage to property and
injury to persons.
