Pinpoint Tests
Test
1 Check cable and terminal integrity:
- ECM pin A27
- ECM pin 820
- ECM pin 801
2 Check cable for short circuit:
- ECM pin A27 to ECM 820
- ECM pin A27 to ground
3 Check cable for continuity:
- ECM pin A27 to sensor pin 1
- ECM pin 820 to sensor pin 2
- ECM pin 801 to sensor pin 3
4 Check cable for short circuit:
- ECM pin A27 to ECM pin 801
5 Reconnect harness, clear fault code and run OK
engine
