Removal

1 . Remove and d iscard t h e two front fixi ngs.
2. Remove and discard the fou r n uts and remove the
sump guard.

Installation

1 . Align t h e sump guard t o t h e motorcycle and secure
with fou r new n uts. Do not ful ly tighten at this stage.
2. Fit two new front fixings.
3. Tighten the front bolts to

Inspection

1. I nspect the fra me, footrests and
damage, cracks, chafin g
conditions. Check bodywork and fra me fixings for
secu rity.
If the m otorcycle is i nvolved in an accident or col lision it
m ust be taken to an authorised Triu m p h dealer for
repai r or inspection.
Any accident can cause damage to the m otorcycle
which, if not correctly repaired, may cause another
accident which may result i n injury o r death.

the frame such as weldi n g or drilling may weaken the
