Removal

1 . Remove t h e rider's seat (see page 1 6-13).
2 . Disco n nect t h e battery, negative (black> lead first.
3 . Remove t h e windscreen (see page 16-19).
4. Remove the two fixings and remove the screen
upper bracket.

Note:
•
The cover is held in place by a bayonet type
fixing. Gently pull on the cover to release it.
6. Disconnect the electrical
instruments.

Remove the screw and release the instru ment pack
from the bracket bayonet fixi ngs.

Installation

1. Position the instru ment pack to the bracket.
2 . Insert t h e bayonet fixi ngs i nto t h e grom mets.
3 . Refit t h e fixing and tig hten t o
4 . Connect t h e instruments t o t h e ha rness.

5. Instal l the cover and gasket to the rea r of the
instruments, ensuring the bayonet fixing is fu lly
inserted in the g rommets on the instrument bracket.
6. Refit the screen u pper bracket and tighten the · two
fixings to
3 Nm.

Refit the windscreen <see page 1 6-21).
8. Recon nect the battery, positive (red) lead first.
9. Refit the rider's seat (see page 16-13).
