Connect the fuel pressu re gauge to the ada ptor hose

as shown below by pushing the gauge spigot into
ada pter until a click ca n be heard.

To release the fuel pressure gauge from the
adapter, slide the outer ferrule downwards.
This will allow the gauge to spring upwards
from the adapter.
Ensu re the gauge is visible to the side of the

Start the engine and observe the fuel pressu re

Fuel Delivery System

Fuel is del ivered to the injectors by a p u m p located inside
the fuel ta n k. Fuel flows i n the direction of the arrows
shown in the d iagram below.
Incorporated in the fuel pump assem bly is a filter, a
pressu re reg u lator and a pick-u p stra iner. The fuel pump
assembly also contains the low fuel level sensor.
