Transmission problems
The setting "POLAR logo upside down" is recommended for approximately 10 – 15 % of the subjects.

The setting "transmitter at the back of the subject" is recommended for approximately 1 – 2 % of the subjects.

However, always try the "normal" setting first.
Cleaning
The chest belt is washable. In this case loosen the belt from the transmitter. Please take care not to crush the two
electrodes of the belt. After having loosened the transmitter off the belt, wash the belt and especially the electrodes with
warm water and mild soap. Do not clean the electrodes mechanically. Do not use alcohol.
If an irregular pulse display occurs in spite of a faultless technical condition, please check your
pulse manually or, when in doubt, consult your doctor.
