1-3 EXPOSURE LAMP REPLACEMENT
Do not touch the reflector or the new exposure lamp with your bare
hands. Use a strip of paper as finger oil. marks will b e c o m e
discolored due to the heat.
1. Turn off the main switch.
2. Remove the exposure glass (see 1-1 Exposure Glass Removal).
3. Move the 1st scanner [A] so that the exposure lamp [B] is located in the
central area of the mylar [C].
4. For 115 volt machines, remove the front and rear exposure lamp terminal
covers [D] (1 screw each).
5. Remove the reflector cover [E] (2 screws),
6. Wrap a strip of paper [F] around the exposure lamp as shown.
7. Press the release lever [G] of the front lamp terminal and lift out the ex-
posure lamp.
