Place a sheet of paper in between the hot and pressure rollers.

Remove the front hot roller gear [1] and bearing [J] (1 "C" ring).

Remove the rear hot roller gear [K] (1 "C" ring), taking care that the bear-
ing does not drop down and damage the pressure roller.

Slide out the hot roller [L] from the front side, taking care not to damage
the fusing thermoswitch.

Tear off the ends of the protective paper [M] from the new hot roller and
install it.
NOTE: This is to make sure that the fusing thermoswitch is not damaged
by the protective paper.

After installation of the hot roller, bearing, and gears, remove the sheet
of paper in between the hot and pressure rollers, and then remove the
protective paper.

Re-install the pressure springs, making sure not to forget to remove the
2 screws from the un-tapped holes holding the pressure roller.
