Remove the pulse generator sensor assembly [A] (1 screw, 1 connector)

and the pulse generator disk [B] (1 "E" ring).

Remove the timing beIt tension bracket [C] together with the bushing [D]
(2 Screws).
Remove the main motor capacitor [E] (1 screw).

Remove the drum shaft bushing [F] (1 "C" ring).

Remove the main motor assembly [G] (3 screws, 1 connector) together
with the timing belt [H].
9 .
Remove the drum drive gear [1] (1 "E" ring) and replace the timing belt.
10. Re-install all parts.
NOTE: a) Make sure the PTL and registration clutch harnesses are fed
through the timing belt.
b) For easy installation of the timing belt tension bracket, see the il-
lustration above.
c) Check that the timing belt is correctly positioned over the pulleys.
d) The fixing screw of the main motor capacitor is longer than the
other fixing screws.
