2-6 IMAGE DENSITY SENSOR AND DRUM Thermistor
REPLACEMENT
1. Turn off the main switch and unplug the copier.
2. Remove the rear cover (2 screws).
3. Disconnect CNI 08 (3p) on the main PCB, and CN2 (2p) on the power
pack.
4. Open the front cover, lower the T/S corona unit and remove the following
parts:
a) development unit
b) charge corona unit
c) drum stay
d) cleaning unit
e) drum flange
f) drum.
g) drum guide.
5. Remove the image density sensor and drum thermistor assembly [A] (1
screw), by pulling towards the front of the machine.
NOTE: Take care not to drop the screw during removal and re-installation.
