b) Take care not to drop the idle
sembly.
7. Fit the lift release spring [F] to the new paper feed clutch assembly and
install the assembly.
NOTE: a)
When installing the assembly, make sure that the lift clutch shaft
is in the correct position (see illustration) and take note that it
has a "D" cut when installing the clutch.
b)
When re-installing the paper lift drive gear, make sure the
toothed part of the gear faces inwards.
c)
In case the lift pressure spring becomes loose, the following pro-
cedure should be followed:

remove the manual feed table
remove the rear cassette guide (2 screws, 1 positioning
tab)
re-install the shaft spring
when re-installing the rear cassette guide, slightly pull the
shaft towards the rear at the same time.
